The Nine Vedic Gemstones (Navratnas)
Classical Jyotish assigns one primary gemstone to each of the nine grahas. Wearing the stone of a benefic planet strengthens its positive influence; wearing the stone of a malefic or trik lord can amplify harm. Always base your choice on your lagna (ascendant), not your Sun or Moon sign.

Which gemstone should I wear?
It depends on your lagna (ascendant), not your Sun or Moon sign. The gemstone for your lagna lord is generally safe. Stones for trik (6th, 8th, 12th) house lords should be avoided.
What is Rudraksha?
Rudraksha beads are seeds from the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree. In Jyotish, specific Mukhi (face) counts correspond to different planets and deities. A 1-Mukhi Rudraksha corresponds to the Sun; 2-Mukhi to the Moon, and so on.
